İnternship diaries: What We Have Done So Far?

As a relatively quick start to our internships, the first thing that we have done is to compose and send the offer letters to our potential supply members.  İn our letter, we have highlighted three issues.  First, tell them about what GreenSavings actually do. Second, how the partnership would make gains for them and the third thing is the partnership between Maryland University.  By mail merging, it is easier to modify the template according to the adresses and is useful for time saving.  After we wrote the adresses of these supply members on the envelops and put the letters in it, our work has completed.  İt is a good experience for all of us to take action in it. The second thing that we do is to discuss among ourselves about which supply members are most beneficial and efficient for 5 categories.  Students, alumni, faculty, department and employees.  Kristina, Min and me; Janbek have agreed on 4 supply members, which are good and useful for all of them.  The second task was eye opening for us to discuss the advantages and disadvantages and take a quick search about the supply members.  We got an idea about what they actually do and learn about their businesses.  The third task we have been working on is how to use social media more effectively for GreenSavings.  The effects of social media is undeniable in today's world.  So, it is good to use social media for GreenSavings more efficiently.  We have focused on twitter,facebook and blog.  Each of us has been working on one of them and it is fun by the way.  That's it for now, and everything has been going well.
